Do you Travel?
Yes, frequently. I'm based in Colorado for two reasons: great weather, and it's easy to get out of.
I can and have worked throughout East Asia and the Pacific, in places such as Japan, New Zealand, and Rarotonga, amongst others. If we can get in and out without too much fuss, I'm game, let's go!
How long have you been doing this?
Honestly, not long. I've been a professional since 2014, shooting commercially. I started in earnest when I was travelling the world in 2006. I helped spark the Iceland trend, though I didn't know it at the time. Most people thought I was nuts to go there, until they saw my photos.
How many photos do we get?
Great question. But the answer is; it depends. Firstly, it depends on what products you want to get out of this. Photobooks? Wall art? We need to know beforehand, so we can shoot with that in mind. Secondly, it depends on what kind of coverage you're after.
In all packages, you receive the edited images of the day in a digital album (300+), as well as a highlight video.
How do we get our photos?
I prefer to shoot for a purpose, be it photo albums, wall art, or social media style images. Physical products are best collected in-person, though that depends on your location.
Digital images will be put into a Pixieset gallery, which you will have access to. I can also create an app for you, too.
Do you retouch photos?
Photo retouching is something that depends on what the images are to be used for. Wall art and photo books both require a careful colour correction and delicate manipulation. Unless you make a special request, I never manipulate the people in the image. Of course, if there's a blemish or smudge I can whisk it away, but I'd rather not change anyone's body shape. That just feels dishonest to me.
Whats your turn around time?
This can be 1 to 3 months. I wish it were shorter, but with the state of the world today such as the delivery of materials and delays due to the coof, we aren't completely in charge of the supply chain and therefore need to have a buffer. Sorry, this is something we're working on.

100% - That would of course fall under the "full service" umbrella, but you can also read some advice in our blog section.
How far out do you book?
Right now, I'm booking couples in for 2022 and 2023. No more spaces in 2021.
What should we do for an engagement session?
If you want an engagement shoot, they're essentially the same as a photography-only shoot, but I'll help you with planning and other details. Hit me up through the contact page and describe what you want to do.
If you're interested in a traditional Wiccan Handfasting engagement (year-and-a-day etc) then we can make that happen too, it just requires a lot of planning. Talk to me about it so we can book it all out.
What should we wear?
You can wear whatever tickles your fancy; Viking clothing, Lord of the Rings costumes, Top Hat and Tails... anything that's within the realm of good taste. That means no kinky stuff.
Oh, you mean for the weather? Well boots for hiking that dry quickly. Carry your dress shoes. Otherwise your wedding attire with a long coat will work. I suggest something that fits your theme and doesn't look too out of place. If your man needs fashion advice, I can do that too but it has to be well in advance!
What do you believe?
I believe in an ineffable mystery. I have a healthy relationship with death and a wonder and joy for life. I'm agnostic towards the question of divinity, as in I don't believe in divine beings, but I know when I reach out my hand and touch a tree or a loved one, I feel a connectedness with a universal truth. I follow the Pagan traditions of my Indo-European ancestors. I give them thanks and recognition for their sacrifices and struggles, rather than belittle their lives by attributing their success to a sky-daddy.
